It was an action-packed race at the Circuit de Catalunya, but not for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, as Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa put on a dominant show to lead throughout the 66 laps, with the exception of a few moments during the run of pit stops. >>more

Kimi Raikkonen has set pole position at the Circuit de Catalunya for the Gran Premio de Espana Telefonica.
On a day of exceptionally close times, Raikkonen’s pole lap of 1min 21.813secs was just under a tenth quicker than second fastest driver, Fernando Alonso. Felipe Massa qualified in third, and Robert Kubica set the fourth fastest time.
Felipe Massa wins GP Bahrain

Sakhir, 6th April - The second win of the season from three starts for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, with victory in Bahrain, for a second year in succession going to Felipe Massa. Not just a win, but a one-two finish, as standing next to Felipe, while the Brazilian National Anthem echoed around the desert, was his team-mate, Kimi Räikkönen.

Sakhir (BH). The Pole is on pole - the BMW Sauber F1 Team celebrates its first fastest time in qualifying. Robert Kubica was quickest in qualifying for the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Kimi Räikkönen took the sixteenth win of his career. Räikkönen wins by 19.5s from Kubica. Kovalainen takes third from Trulli, Hamilton, Heidfeld, Webber and Alonso.

Lewis Hamilton wins Australian Grand Prix

Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton won the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, the first race of the 2008 Formula 1 World Championship. After a turbulent 58 laps (307.574 kms) with three Safety Car periods, Lewis won with 5.4 seconds ahead of Nick Heidfeld and Nico Rosberg.
Lewis Hamilton takes Pole in Australian GP

Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton achieved the first pole position of the 2008 Formula 1 Word Championship. In the third part of qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, Lewis set a time of 1m26.714 and took his seventh career pole one year after his first ever Formula 1 race.
