Vitaly Petrov to race for the Renault F1 Team in 2010
The Renault F1 Team is delighted to announce that Vitaly Petrov will race for the team this season alongside Robert Kubica.
The 25-year-old will become the first Russian to compete in Formula One when he makes his Grand Prix debut in Bahrain in March. He joins the Renault F1 Team off the back of a successful GP2 career having finished as the Series runner-up last season. [Read More!]

The Spanish driver’s first impressions of the new car were positive: “Regarding its comfort it seems to be more or less on the same level as last year’s car. Renault F1 Team Presentation of the R30 in Valencia

The Renault F1 Team is pleased to confirm that the media presentation of the new Renault F1 R30 will take place on Sunday 31st of January at the Circuit de Valencia, the day before the team’s first winter test session (which runs from the 1st to the 3rd of February).
Team Principal Tony Fernandes today confirmed that the Lotus F1 Racing car will be officially launched on 12th February 2010. The location of the launch will be revealed soon, but for the time being F1 fans around the world will be pencilling in 12th February as the first time they will see the team's 2010 challenger, the first Lotus F1 car unveiled since 1994.
Cosworth’s first batch of Formula One engines destined for use by its five customer teams in pre-season testing was completed prior to Christmas ahead of schedule, and is ready for shipping from the company’s Northampton headquarters [Read More!]

Hinwil, 8th January 2010 – Following the purchase of the BMW Sauber F1 Team at the end of November and the return of the BMW employees to Munich, Peter Sauber can now present the company’s new management structure.
Sauber himself is the new President of the Board of Directors and will lead the Hinwil-based team as Team Principal at trackside. However, he will not take on any operational tasks in Hinwil.
The FIA notes the Decision of the Tribunal de Grande Instance of Paris in relation to Mr. Briatore and Mr. Symonds.
The Court has rejected the claims for damages made by Mr. Briatore and Mr. Symonds and their claim for an annulment of the FIA's decision. In particular, the Court did not examine the facts and has not reversed the FIA's finding that both Briatore and Symonds conspired to cause an intentional crash at the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix.
