The new face of Virgin Racing - Jerome d’Ambrosio to partner Timo Glock

The Marussia Virgin Racing Formula One team is delighted to announce that it has signed rising talent Jerome D’Ambrosio to partner Timo Glock in 2011.
Last month, the 25 year old Belgian successfully concluded an evaluation role with the team, which saw him take part in the Free Practice 1 sessions of the Singapore, Japanese, Korean and Brazilian Grands Prix. In addition, he conducted a further half day programme at the wheel of the VR-01 race car during the Abu Dhabi Young Driver Test following the concluding round of the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship. Interproteccion is new Sauber Motorsport Premium Partner
Hinwil, 20 December 2010 – Sauber Motorsport has agreed a partnership with Interproteccion. The Mexican insurance group will become a Sauber F1 Team Premium Partner on 1st January 2011, and its logos will be displayed on the rear wing endplates of the Sauber C30-Ferrari, the drivers’ overalls and team clothing. The team has announced it will launch the 2011 challenger in Spain on February 1 next year.
So this is an early warning to make a note in your shiny new 2011 diaries. Scuderia Toro Rosso will be launching its new car, the STR6 on the first day of Formula One in the pit lane of the Valencia, Ricardo Tormo Circuit at 9am on Tuesday, February 1 2011.

Q: How would you describe Hispania Racing’s first year in Formula 1?
Colin Kolles: It was a difficult year but we were the most reliable new team. I think the only reason why we did not finish 10th is that teams like Lotus and Virgin had more experienced drivers during the whole season. Hinwil, 2nd December 2010 – Planning for the 2011 season is taking shape: The Sauber F1 Team will be introducing the Sauber C30-Ferrari on the morning of the 31st January 2011 at the Circuit Riccardo Tormo in Valencia. The day before the official testing begins Team Principal, Peter Sauber, the team’s management and the drivers will be available for the media. In the afternoon filming with the C30 is planned.
Q1: What started your career in motorsport?
PM: Having competed themselves, my father and my uncle are very passionate about motorsport, so I inherited it from them. In my city of Maracay, there is a go kart circuit about five minutes from my home. When I was about three or four years old I said I wanted to race but I was too young, then when I reached the age of seven my father gave me a kart and we started from there.
