Caterham F1 Team has read with great concern recent reports about a group of individuals who are claiming unfair dismissal from the Formula 1 team following its takeover by new owners.

Following the accident experienced by Lewis Hamilton last Saturday at Hockenheim, BREMBO and MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS F1 Team have been working hand in hand to analyse and identify the causes of the failure.
2014 German Grand Prix - Qualifying

Nico Rosberg secured pole position for the team's home race today at Hockenheim, with Lewis Hamilton suffering from a brake failure and a crash that ended his session during Q1.
Nico topped the timesheets in all three sessions today, ending with the fastest lap time of the weekend, a 1:16.540
The pole position represents his fifth of the season and the ninth in ten races for the team in 2014
Caterham F1 Team Restructuring

Following the first steps of restructuring, Caterham F1 Team has confirmed today that a number of new appointments have been made.
Christijan Albers is now Team Principal, supported by Manfredi Ravetto, General Manager and Deputy Team Principal. Simon Shinkins has also joined the team as COO, as well as Miodrag Kotur who is now Team Manager. Michael Willmer is the teamís new Director of Legal Affairs and Gianluca Pisanello is promoted to Head of Trackside Engineering. Finally, John Iley is now the teamís Technical Director, leading the work being done to improve the 2014 car and the 2015 new car project.
The team has also confirmed that it has parted company with a number of employees. This is a necessary step taken by the new owners of Caterham F1 Team whose priority is the future of the team.
No further comment will be made at this time.
MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS and Nico Rosberg agree contract extension

The MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team is delighted to announce that it signed a multi-year contract extension with Nico Rosberg on 14 July 2014.
Test in Silverstone - Day two
Silverstone, 9th July 2014 Ė The Sauber F1 Team continued with the car development programme and set-up work during the second day of testing in Silverstone. Today, test and reserve driver Giedo van der Garde was behind the wheel of the C33. During the short runs, at the end of the afternoon session, the Dutch driver lost the car in Copse Corner and crashed into the guardrail, but was unhurt. Giedo completed a total of 84 laps.
Caterham F1 Team Launches Development Driver Program With NathanaŽl Berthon
Silverstone, UK - 8th July 2014
GP2 race winner NathanaŽl Berthon has today been confirmed as one of the drivers in Caterham F1 Teamís new Development Driver Program. The Development Driver Program will give up-and-coming racing drivers the opportunity to embed themselves in Caterham F1 Teamís on and off-track operations, helping to prepare them fully for the step up to Formula One.

Caterham F1 Team is pleased to confirm that Tony Fernandes and his partners have sold the team to a consortium of Swiss and Middle Eastern investors, advised by former F1 Team Principal Colin Kolles.
